Good-bye Naps

So it seems that we are seeing the demise of naptime...much to Mommy's dismay. Natalie only naps about once every 4 days now. And she doesn't even play in her room for an hour or anything like that so I could get some stuff done. She screams and kicks the door for the whole hour she is in there. Is it wrong that I wear headphones so I don't have to hear it? Does that make me a neglectful Mom? They are never turned up so loud that I couldn't hear her if she was seriously needing something..mostly she just screams "I see Mommy-Daddy" over and over and over. Yuck! So if your kids are still napping, be GRATEFUL!

Easter

We had a really nice Easter. The Easter bunny came early on Sunday morning bringing Natalie lots of treats. Then it was off to church. A great service followed by a fun Easter egg hunt. Natalie was starting to figure it out at the end! We came home for a nap and then spent time outside enjoying the 86 degree weather. The day ended with a yummy ham and ranch mash potato dinner made by Daddy! Enjoy the pictures!

Big Girl Bed

Our big girl bed arrived yesterday! And we love it! And she slept later in it! Hoping this is the start of a trend of her sleeping past 6am!!! You'll notice there are no covers or pillows on her bed. She hasn't ever used either so we are going to slowly introduce them. Tonight we will put a pillow in her bed with her! It's been in the 80s here during the day and the upper 50s at night so no real need for covers. We'll see how her first nap goes..she has trouble getting in it without our help right now!

It's Spring and we had our First Egg Hunt (and then another one)

Natalie is starting to enjoy the spring weather we are having. She had her first Easter Egg hunt yesterday with playgroup. She had another today at school, and then we have yet another one on Sunday at church. Yesterday went ok. I had to point out the eggs to her and then she would put them in the basket. I didn't go to the one at school, but apparently, she found one egg, and after finding out yesterday there was candy in them, proceeded to open it and then gave up on the Egg Hunt!! But they gave each child a dozen eggs so she still got her share! Will post more pictures from Easter Sunday soon, but enjoy these for now!
